Wiggles Invitations and Party Ideas

The WigglesYour Wiggles Invitations should be colourful and perhaps contain all of the Wiggles friends like Captain Feathersword, Waggs, Dorothy and Henry.  You can get pictures by doing an image search in Google or Yahoo.

I like to make mine on an A5 size sheet of paper, but A4 would be fine too.  Collect as many pics from the web as you can and then, decide which ones match the best, and place them around your document - use Photoshop or Word or similar.  Of course, you do not have to use all the pics you just collected, just use the ones that fit together nicely without crowding the page.

Next comes the text for your Wiggles Invitations.  Don't forget the important details of the who, where and when.  You could suggest that the kids come in the colour of their favourite wiggle.

Sometimes of course, it's easier when someone else has done the work for you - so check out my printable wiggles Invitations if you don't want to make your own.

Now, lets have a think about your Wiggles Party Supplies and ideas to keep the kids occupied...Waggs, Dorothy, Henrietta & Captain Feathersword

This is a good party to have outdoors if possible.  You could make an obstacle course using some of the Wiggles characters.  To prepare this: See if you can make a big Dorothy cardboard cut out, and cut a hole where her mouth should be.  Collect some plastic roses from a $2 shop.  Make some feather swords, get hold of some large feathers and glue them to empty toilet rolls which make the handles.  Get some bone shaped hard dog treats (to be buried in some sand), a skipping rope, a Henry the octopus puppet, and a Wags the dog puppet.

These items can form part of the obstacle course. To Start, get the kids to throw a rose into Dorothy's mouth, then jump over Henry's arms four times (get an adult helper to spin the skipping rope around on the ground to act as octopus arms).  Then they dig out a bone from a sandpit,  and feed to Wags (puppet held by an adult helper).  The kids then to walk the plank and jump (from the imaginary pirate ship of Captain Feathersword).  They wake up Jeff (have a helper on a chair in a purple shirt) with a tickle from a feathersword, and at the end they grab a juice form the treasure chest.  The treasure chest can be an esky filled with drinks, made to look like a treasure chest.

Then they can start over again.

Decorate you house with toy instruments - which can be used for decorations as well as for the kids to play with.  Plastic Drums, a Wiggles musical guitar, tambourines etc - all the stuff kids love, that will probably drive all the adults crazy!

You can either buy Wiggles Party Supplies, or go with plainer options, by mixing the use of the Wiggles colours - Red, Yellow, Blue and Purple.Big Red Car Birthday Cake

Theme your Food if you like.  The Blue Wiggle - Anthony - loves all kind of Food, especially - yummy, yummy, fruit salad and cold spaghetti!

We hope you have a great Wiggly party and that this page, whether you are making your own Wiggles Invitations or not, has started your creative juices flowing.
